Meet the Tisdales

Dr. Elizabeth Tisdale, DVM
Dr. Tisdale is a Louisville native and the lead veterinarian at Tisdale Animal Hospital, with a primary focus on urgent care and emergency surgery. She earned her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from West Virginia University before completing her veterinary degree at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, followed by her clinical year at Colorado State University.

Since graduating in 2017, Dr. Tisdale has developed extensive experience in emergency procedures and soft tissue surgery, including managing traumatic injuries, wound repair, and life-saving surgical interventions. She is passionate about providing prompt, skilled care in critical situations and guiding pets safely through surgery and recovery. Her approach combines efficiency, precision, and compassion to ensure the best possible outcomes during high-stress, time-sensitive cases.

Zach Tisdale
Zach Tisdale manages the business and administrative operations of Tisdale Animal Hospital. A graduate of Ohio University and former neurophysiologist, Zach brings a strong background in organization, problem-solving, and leadership to the practice. He oversees daily operations, supporting the medical team and ensuring a smooth, efficient experience for both clients and patients.

Together, Elizabeth and Zach are proud parents to two wonderful boys and share their home with Derby, their very handsome Dalmatian.

Practice Manager

Christiana helps keep our hospital running smoothly each day by supporting our doctors, technicians, clients, and patients. She oversees daily operations, helps train new team members, and plays an important role in maintaining the high standard of care our hospital is known for.

Outside of work, Christiana enjoys running, riding horses, and antiquing.

Her compassion, leadership, and dedication make her an invaluable part of our team.

Megan

Lead Technician

Megan is a cat mom of two and loves dogs as well! With more than four years of experience in animal care, she is dedicated to ensuring the well-being of all pets she encounters. Megan and her husband relocated from Annapolis, MD to Louisville in 2022 and have quickly fallen in love with the city. In her free time, Megan enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, and cozying up on the couch with her cats. She's excited to meet and care for your beloved furry family members!

Summer

Client Services Coordinator

Summer moved to Louisville from Greensboro, NC in 2019 and loves living here. She is a proud wife, and mom to three amazing children. Summer enjoys family time, yoga, reading, movies, and playing with her sweet little dog, Hazel. Connecting with TAH's wonderful clients and their pets makes Summer very happy!

Caroline

Client Services Coordinator

Caroline is our client services coordinator. She is the smiling face up front who cannot wait to greet you and your pets! She has a Master's degree in Public Health and a minor in Business Administration. She lives in Louisville with her husband, dalmatians, and two sweet babies!
